Articles about transfer prices in Turkey often give only a rough range without saying where it comes from. This index publishes the actual fixed prices for 36 common routes, with distances and drive times, so you can compare any quote you get, from us or from anyone else.

- Unit: euros per vehicle, one way, from the airport to the destination. The same price applies in the other direction.

Seven things the data shows
1. Half of all routes cost €52.50 or less per car
Half of the 36 routes cost €52.50 or less for an Economy Sedan, and the middle half of routes cost between €45 and €60. The median route is about 45 km long and takes about 45 minutes. That's a useful reference: a sedan quote far above €55 for a 45-minute drive deserves a question, and one far below may leave out fees or use a smaller car.
2. Short trips cost more per kilometre
On routes up to 40 km, the median price is €1.42 per km. On routes over 80 km, it falls to €0.63 per km. Part of every transfer doesn't depend on distance: the driver's time at arrivals, waiting for delayed flights, and the drive back. So a 20-minute trip to Lara or Alsancak can't be priced as a small fraction of a nearly two-hour trip to Alanya.
3. For groups, a van is usually the cheaper option per person
The FirstClass Van costs a median of about 15% more than the Economy Sedan but takes twice as many passengers. With six people, the median van price is about €10 per person. With the Vip Sprinter full (16 passengers), the median falls to about €5.63 per person. Booking two sedans for a group of five almost always costs more than one van.
4. The airport you land at changes the price
In Cappadocia, Göreme costs €45 from Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport (NAV, 40 km) and €70 from Kayseri Airport (ASR, 74 km). In Istanbul, Kadıköy on the Asian side costs €48 from Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and €60 from Istanbul Airport (IST). The difference in flight prices can still outweigh the transfer price, so compare the total. See Nevşehir or Kayseri airport for Cappadocia? and IST or SAW?
5. Antalya has the lowest prices per kilometre for long transfers
Antalya Airport (AYT) has a median of €0.73 per km on the routes in this index, and its long routes to Alanya (€0.52 per km) and Kaş (€0.44 per km) are the lowest of all. Kemer (58 km) and Side (65 km) both cost €45, and Alanya (125 km) costs €65. For resorts more than an hour from the airport, Antalya gives the most distance for the money in this index.
6. For Istanbul's European side, both airports cost about the same
To Taksim, Sultanahmet, Beşiktaş and Şişli, an Economy Sedan costs €50–55 from either airport, and the drive takes 41–50 minutes without heavy traffic. On the Asian side, Sabiha Gökçen is clearly cheaper: Kadıköy costs €48 from SAW and €60 from IST, and Üsküdar €45 against €70.
7. On every route of 60 km or more, the fixed price is below the taxi meter
We compared Vixride's prices with the official taximeter tariff of each airport's province: the opening fee plus the per-km rate over the same distance, with a second figure 20% higher for slow traffic and waiting, converted at €1 = 55.21 TL (TCMB, 9 October 2026). On all nine routes in this index that are 60 km or longer, the Economy Sedan costs less than even the lower meter estimate:
| Route | Distance | Taxi on the meter (estimate) | Vixride Economy Sedan | Vixride FirstClass Van |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Antalya Airport to Side | 65 km | ≈ €59–72 | €45 | €50 |
| Kayseri Airport to Ürgüp | 68 km | ≈ €81–98 | €70 | €80 |
| Kayseri Airport to Göreme | 74 km | ≈ €88–107 | €70 | €85 |
| İzmir Airport to Kuşadası | 80 km | ≈ €78–95 | €55 | €65 |
| İzmir Airport to Alaçatı | 84 km | ≈ €82–100 | €70 | €75 |
| İzmir Airport to Çeşme | 88 km | ≈ €86–105 | €55 | €65 |
| Dalaman Airport to Marmaris | 95 km | ≈ €88–107 | €65 | €70 |
| Antalya Airport to Alanya | 125 km | ≈ €113–137 | €65 | €70 |
| Antalya Airport to Kaş | 205 km | ≈ €186–224 | €90 | €110 |
Antalya Airport to Kemer (58 km) is below the meter too: €45 against about €53–64.
Tariffs in force on 12 October 2026: Antalya central zone, which includes the airport, 40 TL start + 50 TL per km since March 2026 (source); İzmir, 40 TL + 54 TL per km since 30 April 2026 (source); Muğla province, 150 TL + 50 TL per km since February 2026 (Fethiye and Bodrum reports); Kayseri, 75 TL + 65 TL per km since May 2026 (source). The transfer price is also fixed before you travel, so traffic and waiting can't push it up, and a group of five or six fits in one van instead of two taxis.
How to use this index when comparing quotes
- Compare per vehicle, not per person. A "€15 per person" quote is €60 for a family of four.
- Compare the same vehicle class. A sedan for 3 and a van for 6 aren't the same service.
- Check what's included. Ask about tolls, parking, night rates, child seats and waiting time before you compare totals.
- Look at the operator, not just the price. Our guide to choosing a reliable transfer company lists the checks.
