Transfer information for Dalaman Airport (DLM)
What to know from landing to your hotel door: the terminal layout, the road and traffic, tolls and the public transport options.
Terminals and arrival
Dalaman Airport has separate international and domestic terminals. International passengers come out into the arrivals hall after passport control, baggage claim and customs. The airport is only 6 km from Dalaman town. The main holiday areas lie to the east towards Göcek and Fethiye and to the west towards Sarıgerme and Marmaris.
Roads, drive times and peak hours
Towards Fethiye the car follows the D400 along the Göcek gulf and through the Göcek Tunnel. Göcek is 22 km away (~25 min) and Fethiye 45 km (~45 min). Ölüdeniz is 58 km (~60 min). Marmaris (95 km, ~85 min) is reached westwards on the D400 via Köyceğiz. From June to October the airport is busy on Saturdays and Sundays, and in summer traffic slows in central Fethiye and Göcek between 17:00 and 19:00.
Tolls
The Göcek Tunnel, used towards Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Kaş and Kalkan, is tolled; there are no tolls towards Marmaris, Sarıgerme or Köyceğiz. With Vixride the tunnel toll and airport parking are included in the fixed price.
Public transport or private transfer?
Havaş / Muttaş buses leave according to flight arrivals for Fethiye (₺300 per person, ~60 min). The Marmaris line costs ₺420 and takes ~90 minutes. For Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü or Kalkan you have to change at Fethiye bus station, and the change and the wait for a dolmuş add time. A private transfer goes with no changes, and because the driver tracks your flight, they wait for you if it is delayed.
Distances and drive times come from the route data behind Vixride's price table; public transport fares and times are based on what the operators publish and may change. Last checked:
