About Barut Goia
Barut Goia calls itself a family resort in Side, close to the historical town, at Adnan Menderes Bulvarı No:39. The hotel presents itself as the main sponsor of the archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Side, and from its Penthouse Suites, which have their own jacuzzi, guests can see both the sea and the ancient theatre.
The resort is all-inclusive, with water slides, children's and youth clubs, a spa and fitness centre, the Inanna buffet restaurant and Fely à la carte. Sueno Hotels Beach Side is next door, about 100 m away, and the Roman theatre about 1.4 km to the west. Barut Hotels also runs Acanthus & Cennet in Side and Hemera in Kumköy, so check which Barut you booked. From Antalya Airport the route follows the D400 to the Side junction before Manavgat.
The hotel opened in 2012 and was renovated in December 2023; its 300 rooms are in buildings of four and five storeys on 46,000 m². It is not on the beach itself: its 100 m section of sand beach, with a beach club, is about 600 m away. There are five pools, among them the heated 2,057 m² main pool, a slide pool and an indoor pool, and Olea Kitchen serves Turkish and Italian dishes à la carte. Guests can play padel, the Turkish bath and sauna are free to use, and the Sunset, Jos and Q bars complete the evening options.
