Alagadi Turtle Beach
Twin sandy coves east of Kyrenia where green and loggerhead turtles nest each summer. The beach is protected and closed at night in the nesting season; by day it is one of the quietest swims on the north coast.

The highest of the three Kyrenia range castles, at about 950 m, reached by a narrow mountain road and a stepped path. On a clear day you see both the north coast and Nicosia on the plain below.

Kyrenia Castle & Shipwreck Museum
Venetian fortress built around a Byzantine castle at the harbour entrance. Inside, the Shipwreck Museum displays the hull of a Greek merchant ship that sank off Kyrenia around 300 BC, one of the oldest ever raised from the sea.
