Editorial guidelines
How we write and update the pages of vixride.com: airport and route pages, transfer guides, comparisons and blog articles.
Who writes our pages
- Our pages are written by the Vixride team, a travel agency licensed by TÜRSAB (no. 14798).
- We are a transfer company, so we are never a neutral party when we write about transfers. Every guide and comparison says so at the top of the page.
Where our numbers come from
- Prices are the live fares of our booking system: the price on a page is the price you can book that day. A "from" price is the Economy Sedan fare of that route.
- Distances and driving times come from our route data; real times vary with traffic and are given as approximate.
- Taxi figures are estimates calculated from the official taximeter tariff of each city plus €10 for what airport taxis charge in practice, and are labelled as estimates.
Writing about other companies
- Facts about other transfer companies come only from their own public websites and help pages. Each comparison lists those pages as sources and shows the date we checked them.
- Every guide has a section on when Vixride is not the best choice, for example the airport bus for a solo traveller on a tight budget.
- Company names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to compare.
Dates and updates
- Airport and route pages show the date their fares last changed; guides and comparisons show the date their facts were checked.
- When a price, a term or a fact changes, we update the page and its date.
Corrections
- If something on a page is wrong, email info@vixride.com with the page address. We check it against our sources and, if it is wrong, correct the page and its date.
