About Alaçatı Marina Palace
Port Alaçatı's marina is about 200 m from Alaçatı Marina Palace, a small hotel in the Liman Mevkii area at the southern end of Alaçatı, at 18000 Sokak No:39. The surf schools on the bay are some 350 m away and Çark Beach about 500 m, while the stone houses and windmills of the old village centre lie roughly 3 km to the north. The hotel's own pages also use the spelling Alaçatı Marina Place.
Most of the journey from İzmir Airport is motorway: the ring road takes the car around the city to the İzmir–Çeşme motorway, which runs west past Urla to the Alaçatı junction. After that the road leads past the village to the bay, and the hotel stands in the Liman Mevkii streets, about 200 m from the Port Alaçatı marina.
There are 12 rooms with 40 beds in all: six standard rooms, three deluxe rooms, two family rooms and a suite, each named after a sailing term, from the Kaptan suite to Pruva and Lumbuz. Upper-floor rooms have a balcony or a shared terrace looking over the sea and the pool, and garden-floor rooms open onto verandas by the outdoor pool. Breakfast is a village-style spread of local produce, served in a 30-seat restaurant or on a 200 m² open-air terrace; a daily set menu, an à la carte menu and afternoon tea with home-made biscuits are offered too, and pets are welcome.
