1King's Tombs
Carved in the 4th century BC for the nobles of Kaunos into the sheer cliffs by the river, these temple-fronted tombs are the symbol of Dalyan. With Ionic columns and pediments, they look like small temples and are best seen from the riverfront or from a boat on the river; in the late afternoon the sun turns them gold.
