About Blue Waters Club
Blue Waters Club spreads over a large site in Sorgun, the stretch of coast east of Side, with its address at No:16 on Acısu Mevkii Sokak in Sorgun Mahallesi. The resort stands in the first line on a sandy beach about 500 m long and has its own pier. Akra Sorgun TUI Blue Sensatori lies some 700 m to the west and Paloma Finesse about 800 m to the south-east; the ancient theatre of Side is roughly 4 km west and the centre of Manavgat about 3 km north.
From Antalya Airport the route runs east along the D400 past Aksu, Serik and the Belek turn-offs, crosses the Köprüçay river and passes the junctions for Side. Near Manavgat it turns off south towards the Sorgun coast, and the drive ends at the resort's entrance on Acısu Mevkii Sokak.
The complex grew in stages: the club section of two-storey buildings opened in 1995, a five-storey hotel block followed in 2001 and a connected Superior building in 2010, giving 671 rooms in all. It runs on all inclusive with families in mind, with the Club Aquapark and slide pools, mini clubs for ages 1-3 and 4-13 and a teen club for 14 to 17. Eight quartz-sand tennis courts head a long sports list, and the Kuyu (Turkish) and Heuriger (Austrian) restaurants are joined by Chinese and steak à la carte venues.
