About Sunlight Garden Hotel
A garden hotel rather than a beach resort, Sunlight Garden Hotel stands back from the shore on 1060. Sokak in Side Mahallesi, on the northern side of Side, with the ancient theatre and the old town about 2 km to the south. Horus Paradise Luxury Resort lies roughly 300 m to the west, between the hotel and the sea. The sandy beach is about 750 m away; guests walk there in ten to fifteen minutes or take the hotel's shuttle. It is a simple, low-priced family address with an all-inclusive option.
Coming from Antalya Airport, the nearer of the two, the drive runs east on the D400 for most of the way, past Aksu and Serik. Shortly before Manavgat it turns off for Side and heads down towards the coast; the hotel sits on a quiet side street, 1060. Sokak, on the northern side of town, short of the old town.
The property dates from 1997. A three-storey main building is joined by apartment-style units, a handful of villas and an annex, all set around the gardens. There are two outdoor pools with two children's pools beside them. One restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as buffets, with a bar and a poolside snack bar next to it. A hammam with massage and a hairdresser, a playground and a kids club for ages 4 to 12 complete the picture.
