Best Dalaman Airport transfer 2026: options and prices compared

There is no single best transfer for everyone. Shuttle buses from Dalaman Airport (DLM) are the cheapest option but stop at the Fethiye and Marmaris bus stations, not at hotels. For Sarıgerme, Dalyan, Göcek, Fethiye, Ölüdeniz or Hisarönü a pre-booked private transfer with a fixed price per vehicle is the most predictable: with Vixride from €40 to Sarıgerme, €45 to Fethiye and €55 to Ölüdeniz, paid to the driver, with free cancellation (please let us know at least 24 hours in advance). Airport shuttle buses (Havaş and Muğla municipal buses) run from Dalaman Airport to the Fethiye and Marmaris bus stations, timed with flights; from there you continue by dolmuş or taxi.

The real meter fare depends on traffic and the route taken.
Dalaman Airport has an International Terminal and a Domestic Terminal. If you connect via Istanbul, you usually land at the Domestic Terminal. With your flight number the driver follows the actual landing and waits at the right exit with a name sign.
How to choose a transfer company (checklist)
- Licence: in Turkey a travel agency needs a TÜRSAB licence and passenger transport a D2 authorisation from the Ministry of Transport. Ask for the numbers.
- Who drives: does the company run its own vehicles, or does a platform pass your booking to a local partner?
- Price per vehicle or per person, and what is included: tolls, waiting time for delayed flights, child seats, night rides.
- Payment and cancellation: when you pay (online in advance or to the driver) and until when you can cancel for free.
- Meeting point: where the driver waits (arrivals exit, name sign) and how long, and what happens if you land at another terminal.
- Recent reviews on independent sites (Google, TripAdvisor), not only on the company's own website.

- You want to pay everything online in advance: we take payment on the day, so a booking platform suits you better.
- You land in less than 2 hours: online booking closes 2 hours before pickup, so take the official airport taxi.
