About Alura Boutique Hotel
Alura Boutique Hotel occupies a garden plot on 13005 Sokak in Alaçatı Mahallesi, in the Çeşme district at the western end of the İzmir peninsula. The street lies on the north-eastern side of the village core, so the stone-house lanes and restaurants of old Alaçatı begin about 250 m to the south-west and are reached on foot. For swimming, guests go to Ilıca Beach on the north coast, some 3 km off, since this is a small village house run by its founder rather than a seaside hotel.
From İzmir Airport the car follows the city ring road west onto the İzmir–Çeşme motorway, which runs the length of the peninsula and passes Urla on the way. The Alaçatı exit comes before Çeşme itself, and a short link road leads south into the village. 13005 Sokak is one of the narrow streets on the north-eastern side, so the final stretch to the hotel door is taken slowly.
There are only eight rooms, each named after a shade of blue, from Aquamarine and Azure to Lapis Larimar and Sapphire, with L'Occitane toiletries and Turkish cotton linen. A large outdoor pool sits beside a garden of fruit trees, where breakfast is served under an almond tree until midday, with home-made jams and olives from the hotel's own trees.
