It lies on the southern side of the village, a couple of minutes' walk from the Hacımemiş quarter, and the stone houses of the old centre begin about 350 m to the north. The sea is roughly 1.3 km away and Ilıca Beach on the north coast about 3.4 km, so guests drive or take a taxi to the beaches and beach clubs.
The drive heads west from İzmir Airport across the city on the ring road and joins the toll motorway to Çeşme, which crosses the peninsula past the turn-offs for Urla. Leaving at the Alaçatı junction, the car drops south into the village and turns off the main street into the residential lanes of its southern side, ending on 12049 Sokak, a short street where it can stop at the door.
The hotel is run by its hosts, Nilgün and Çağatay, whom guests name in their reviews. Breakfast is the house's best-known feature, with home-made jams and local produce, and around five in the afternoon there is tea with cakes and biscuits baked on site.
