Vixride vs Welcome Pickups

Welcome Pickups is a booking platform for airport transfers in tourist cities: you prepay a fixed fare online and a local partner driver meets you. Vixride is a local, TÜRSAB-licensed operator at 10 airports in Turkey and North Cyprus with its own drivers, and you pay the driver on the day.

Choose Vixride if…
you land at Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Gazipaşa, İzmir, Cappadocia, Istanbul or Ercan, need a van or a Sprinter for a group, or prefer to pay on the day with free cancellation (please let us know at least 24 hours in advance).

Fixed price per vehicle (Economy Sedan, up to 3 passengers), the same as on the route pages. Welcome Pickups shows its own price when you search on its website, so enter the same route and date there to compare.

Frequently asked questions
Is Welcome Pickups cheaper than Vixride?
It depends on the route, the date and the vehicle. Welcome Pickups shows a fixed fare per vehicle when you book and takes it in advance. Vixride shows a fixed price per vehicle on every route page, for example from €40 from Antalya Airport to Belek and from €45 from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye. Compare the total for your whole group, including tolls, waiting time and child seats.
Do I pay in advance with Welcome Pickups and with Vixride?
Welcome Pickups: Prepaid online by card or PayPal. Vixride: no prepayment; you pay the driver on the day in cash (EUR, USD, GBP or TRY) or by card. Free cancellation; please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
Who will actually drive me?
Welcome Pickups: A local partner driver. Vixride: our own SRC-certified drivers in Vixride's Mercedes vehicles, under our TÜRSAB licence (no. 14798) and D2 authorisation.
