Short answer

There is no single best transfer for everyone. Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) is on the edge of the city, so city buses and taxis are a simple choice for Kayseri itself (Vixride from €45). Cappadocia is about an hour away, and there the choice matters more: shared shuttles cost less per person but stop at several hotels, while a pre-booked private transfer goes direct at a fixed price per vehicle: with Vixride from €95 to Ürgüp, €95 to Göreme and €50 to the Erciyes ski resort, paid to the driver, with free cancellation (please let us know at least 24 hours in advance). The taxi runs on the meter.

Why book Vixride at Kayseri Airport (ASR)

  • About an hour to Cappadocia at a fixed price: Ürgüp is 68 km away. With Vixride the price per vehicle is set when you book and does not change with traffic or the route taken: from €95.
  • Ski transfers to Erciyes: from €50 per vehicle (30 km), with room for ski bags in the FirstClass Van (Mercedes Vito); add your equipment to the booking note.
  • No stops at other hotels: a private transfer goes straight to your hotel, unlike shared shuttles that collect passengers for several villages.
  • Late landings: flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting after the actual landing, with no night surcharge.
  • One price for the whole group: FirstClass Van (Mercedes Vito) for up to 6 and Vip Sprinter for up to 16 passengers, priced per vehicle, not per person.
  • On 5 of the 8 routes in the price table below, the Vixride fixed price per vehicle is lower than even the low end of the taxi meter estimate.

*Estimate from the official taximeter tariff for Kayseri: opening fee 75 TL + 65 TL per km (tariff since 11 May 2026); upper figure +20% for slow traffic and waiting; converted at €1 = 55.21 TL (Central Bank of Turkey, 9 October 2026); €10 added to both figures to match fares charged at the airport in practice. The real meter fare depends on traffic and the route taken.

Kayseri Erkilet Airport is a compact airport on the northern edge of the city, with domestic and international flights. With your flight number the driver follows the actual landing and waits at the arrivals exit with a name sign.

How to choose a transfer company (checklist)

  1. Licence: in Turkey a travel agency needs a TÜRSAB licence and passenger transport a D2 authorisation from the Ministry of Transport. Ask for the numbers.
  2. Who drives: does the company run its own vehicles, or does a platform pass your booking to a local partner?
  3. Price per vehicle or per person, and what is included: tolls, waiting time for delayed flights, child seats, night rides.
  4. Payment and cancellation: when you pay (online in advance or to the driver) and until when you can cancel for free.
  5. Meeting point: where the driver waits (arrivals exit, name sign) and how long, and what happens if you land at another terminal.
  6. Recent reviews on independent sites (Google, TripAdvisor), not only on the company's own website.

What Vixride offers (and where we are not the best fit)

  • TÜRSAB-licensed travel agency (no. 14798) with a D2 authorisation; SRC-certified drivers, insured vehicles.
  • Own Mercedes fleet: Economy Sedan (E-Class, up to 3), FirstClass Van (Vito, up to 6), Vip Sprinter (up to 16); 20 Vito vans at each of our 10 airports.
  • Fixed price per vehicle, shown before booking; tolls, waiting for delayed flights and child seats are included.
  • No prepayment: pay the driver on the day in cash (EUR, USD, GBP, TRY) or by card. Free cancellation; please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting after the actual landing; the driver meets you at the arrivals exit with a name sign.
  • If you are not satisfied with the service, you may choose not to pay the fare.

When another option is better

  • You travel alone with light luggage and want the lowest price: the bus or a shared shuttle costs less. We only run private vehicles.
  • You want to pay everything online in advance: we take payment on the day, so a booking platform suits you better.
  • You land in less than 2 hours: online booking closes 2 hours before pickup, so take the official airport taxi.
  • Your airport is not one of our 10 airports (IST, SAW, AYT, GZP, ADB, BJV, DLM, ASR, NAV, ECN).
