About Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus
Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus opened in 2021 as the group's first hotel in Istanbul and its second in Turkey after Bodrum. It holds 200 metres of the European shore at Kuruçeşme, at No:62 Muallim Naci Caddesi, the coast road between Ortaköy and Bebek; Ortaköy Mosque and its square are about 1.3 km to the south-west. Historic yalı mansions stand next door, and the hotel looks across the strait to Beylerbeyi Palace and the Kuleli Military Academy, with the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge both in view.
Both Istanbul Airport and the hotel lie on the European side, so this drive needs no Bosphorus crossing. It runs south-east from the airport through the forest belt around Göktürk and Kemerburgaz, continues through Kağıthane towards Levent and then leaves the ridge for the shore; the hotel's gate opens straight off Muallim Naci Caddesi, the coast road.
